Abhijan’s artistic work is research-driven and spans across installations, performances, works in print and photography, and experimental collaborative formats. They work always in relation, through collaborative endevours, but also deploying strategies such an annotation, intertextuality, and commentary, exploring the tension between words and images; power and authority, and affective states with an interest in shapeshifting. Their work has been exhibited at Proposals For A Monument To Partition, Jameel Art Centre, Dubai, UAE (2022); Nation, Narration, Narcosis, Hamburger Bahnhof Museum, Berlin, Germany (2021); and Non-Human Assemblages, Sea Art Festival, Busan, South Korea (2021)  among others and is part of the Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
